Frisco Flyers Volleyball Club Head Coach and Flyers Executive Board's complicity to Fraudulent experience
Update: Frisco Flyers Lost their frivolous lawsuit intended to intimidate us.
We, victims of fraud, will not be intimidated from sharing our experience even in the face of a lawsuit threat from Flyers for one purpose: So no other girl or family goes through what we did and continue to be put through. This continues to be a nightmare for Ann and our family. A vibrant girl with a passion for the game of volleyball is left broken over deceit of trusted volleyball club all while Flyers Executive board continues to prevent her from playing for any other club in the North Texas region unless we sign a document pushing yet another lie.
"Fraud is a deliberate act (or failure to act) with the intention of obtaining an unauthorized benefit, either for oneself or for the institution, by using deception or false suggestions or suppression of truth or other unethical means, which are believed and relied upon by others." www.usi.edu

A Flyers US Volleyball Player's Nightmare
Imagine during the first game of season, you're told by your head coach told that you don't have the skills for the US Elite team Flyers recruited and charged you family almost $6,000. You learn from a Flyers insider that the coach "even admitted he just picked girls to fill the roster" Flyers revoked your access to the team and threatens you with a lawsuit and prevents you from playing in any other club in the North Texas region unless you agree to sign a lie. Defrauded, betrayed and crushed is one nightmare. Preventing the player from playing unless we sign a lie, is another level of fraud and coercion. Followed by flyers filing a lawsuit against us, which they inevitably lost.
On July 11th Ann went to a tryout to be evaluated by Flyers head coach for US Elite Volleyball Team. He came to me (parent) at the end of the evaluation and "she's very good" and extended her the offer to join her team. We signed the agreement, and Ann was beside herself with excitement to be on the prestigious US volleyball team. We were charged just under $6,000 fees to participate in the USA club team, with the understanding that the funds were for legitimate participation and competitive opportunities. According to the agreement, the club fees were for competitive participation, training, and related benefits of which we later came to learn on Day 1 of the season that the promise will never be available for Ann.
Prior to the start of the season, this coach informed us he'd been unemployed for a while and is looking for employment opportunities. Shortly after (prior to the season beginning) he would tell our daughter to tell us that she needs to book private sessions with him for additional money in addition to the almost $6,000 club fees. We’d feared retaliation back then for turning him down but hoped it won’t come to that. (see text screenshot below. The same girl he says did well before the season would be deemed not skilled enough at first game of the season)
Dec 11, 2024 First game of the season. Ann stood on the sidelines as all her teammates got tapped to play set after set, (a good number of whom rarely came to practices). Some of her teammates asked if she had done something wrong for being made to stand there the entire time in tears. Towards the end, the assistant coach had to intercede on Ann's behalf for the head coach to allow Ann play 4 mins out of 90 mins.
After the game, we went to talk to the coach and we have voice recording of being told Ann lacks the skills and volleyball IQ to be on the team they recruited her for. He continued “At the end of the day we are the highest level team…but if we are going to keep losing a lot of points when she is on, that’s what it is...if you are on the court and our +- is bad, we are a competitive team. That’s what the statistics say” This is the first lie as the assistant coach has validated that no such practice statistics existed. Frisco Flyers has failed to produce this stats because it does not exist. One might think this is reasonable if the coach was indeed acting in the best interest of an undefeated competitive team but note that this coach lost every single set after this and Ann was not present.
Our next question was "why would you recruit her if she's not good enough for your team?" He said he never recruited her and that he was not a part of the evaluation process. Another lie because he evaluated Ann before offering her an offer a spot on his team. The coach not only denied ever recruiting her, he said neither He continued 'cannot guarantee" the outcome of future games for the rest of the season would be different from today where Ann is made to stand on the sidelines crying her eyes out watching everyone else picked to play but her. The coach went on to offer to find Ann a downgraded team to play on that she may be ready for caliber of the elite team she's contractually on in one to two years.
Understandably, Ann is dejected and her self esteem is crushed. Weeks later she still bursts into tears when she relives this. Our family's access was removed from the team's communication app, Groupme. While we feel defrauded for money and discarded our focus was getting our daughter healing and making sure this does not happen to others. We asked Flyers to release Ann to go try to play elsewhere and salvage her self-esteem and love of the game. We also asked for refund her fees since the coach said she's is not good enough for the team she's contracted for after the first game of the season. To our surprise, Flyers Executive board, despite being made aware of the recordings, proceeded to threaten us with a baseless lawsuit since truth cannot be defamation. Another shocker?! Even though its been made it clear she's does not have the skills for the US elite team which Flyers recruited her for and have removed us from the team's communication app, Flyers refused to release Ann to play volleyball elsewhere in North Texas region unless we sign a lie that we agree "all dues currently paid will fulfill the contractual agreement for the 2024-2025 season."
